As part of our ongoing efforts to continue to evolve our packaging system, we are now covering the cost of sending your eligible empty Ritual containers to Pact.

Through innovative collection programs, they provide the most credible and transparent solutions to close the loop on hard-to-recycle packaging. By collaborating with Pact, we aim to contribute to a more circular economy where packaging is reused, recycled and processed effectively.
How Does Pact Work?
Pact offers an efficient system for recycling hard-to-recycle packaging, ensuring that these materials are not just disposed of but reintegrated into the production cycle whenever possible. Their programs are designed to offer transparent and trustworthy recycling/processing solutions, making it easier for companies and consumers alike to contribute to a sustainable future.
What Ritual Products Are Eligible?
Packaging decisions are complex, involving numerous considerations such as formulation integrity, carbon footprint, use of recycled materials, recyclability, and refillable solutions. For our partnership with Pact, the following Ritual products are eligible for recycling:

An easy way to remember is: if it's in a clear bottle and its smaller than a yogurt cup or fist, it's curbside recyclable.
Can I drop off products that I didn’t buy from Ritual?
Yes! Pact’s collection programs are brand-agnostic, so you can send us any beauty or wellness product that fits their collection guidelines.
How to Participate
Participating in our expanded Pact Program is simple and convenient. Here's how you can get involved:
- Check Pact Bin Locations: See if you are near a Pact Bin, and drop off your empties there. This is the most sustainable option.
- Clean Out Your Empties: Make sure your containers are empty and clean before sending them in.
- Check the Collection Guidelines: Visit Pact Collective's guidelines to ensure you are preparing your empties correctly and only dropping off beauty and wellness empties that fit their guidelines.
- Get Your Pre-Paid Label: Go to Ritual's Pact Collective page and print your pre-paid shipping label.
