Ritual has long been a champion of traceability and sustainability. 100% of our ingredients being Made Traceable® goes beyond simply listing ingredients on the label. We provide detailed information about the raw material source of each ingredient, giving you peace of mind about what you're putting in your body. We focus on sourcing high-quality, sustainable ingredients and minimizing our environmental footprint.

We're passionate about creating a positive impact, and that extends far beyond the bottle. That's why we're thrilled to announce that we are a Certified B Corporation! Earning B Corp certification further solidifies our dedication to these values, ensuring transparency and accountability to the highest standards. Becoming a Certified B Corp means that we’re holding ourselves accountable, long term, to not only think about our company's financial health but also the health of people and our planet. This rigorous certification shows you that someone else is looking under the hood.

How to Receive the B Corporation Certification?

As B Lab, the nonprofit that oversees B Corp certification, states, "B Corps are over 2 times more likely to screen suppliers based on social and environmental performance." This translates to a greater likelihood that the ingredients you find in our products come from sources that prioritize ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility.

To receive the B Corp Certification, a company must: (2)

• Display social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above and passing B Corp’s risk review. You can feel confident that Ritual is doing good for the planet and future generations.

• Make a legal commitment by changing their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders, and achieve benefit corporation status if available in their jurisdiction. At Ritual, it's not just about the bottom line. We're rethinking the way business works. This means holding ourselves accountable to a wider circle.

• Adhere to B Corp’s transparency requirements by providing information about their performance measured against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website. Transparency is key for us and we’re committed to keeping our customers informed about the impact we’re making on people and the planet.

The B Corp Certification Process

The road to B Corp certification is unique for every company based on size and complexity. Check out B Corp certification guidelines and step-by-step process for more details. It’s important to keep in mind that B corp certification isn't a one-time win. To ensure environmental and social responsibility, each B Corp company must undergo a rigorous review every three years to ensure they are constantly adhering or exceeding B Corp’s standards. (3)

How Many Other Supplement Companies Are B Corp Certified?

Not many. In fact, none of the top 5 selling men's or women’s multivitamins are Certified B Corp. (1) Our industry has been asleep at the wheel when it comes to actively addressing sustainability and environmental issues. Ritual’s mission to be radically traceable allows us to know our impact, act on it, and share with our community. But we don’t want it to stop with us, we are calling for the rest of the industry to step up.

How Did Ritual score?

The average B Corp assessment score is 51. We’ve scored an 84.8 right now, and we’re just getting started.
