Ritual defines a product or shipping component as “sustainable” if it is either made from recycled materials, recyclable, and/or refillable. Packaging choices are a delicate balance of product integrity and sustainability considerations.

We expanded our partnership with recycling partner Pact Collective. While dropping off eligible empties at your nearest Pact partner is the most sustainable option, Ritual now offers pre-paid labels to ship them to our Pact partners. 

We’re in the process of testing new packaging, which is designed to be refillable. 

While refillable packaging has tons of exciting potential, it’s vital to ensure that product stability won’t be adversely impacted. This testing takes years to complete — but it’s worth it.
